About

I grew up in Mumbai and studied computer science at the University of Mumbai. My first job out of school was Technical Account Manager at DK Electricals, managing the full sales cycle for cloud and on-prem systems, about $2M a year in revenue. In 2017 I moved to Boston for an MS in Engineering Management at Northeastern (GPA 3.9) and joined Akamai as a co-op in my final year; the co-op turned into a full-time offer.

The next 6 years were enterprise systems: 4 at Akamai as a Business Systems Analyst in Procure-to-Pay, then 2 at Robert Half as Manager, Systems Analysis, building the operating model for a global marketing analytics function. In March 2025, with the business cutting back, the role was eliminated.

Through the Robert Half years I also co-founded Monospace, an event-management SaaS, as a side venture: 15+ user interviews, a working prototype across 4 modules, 3 incubator programs, and, in the end, no market.

In July 2025 I joined MapChat, a venue-based social discovery app built around low-pressure real-life connection, as a Founding Team Member & Product Manager. I own product, architecture, and the build. The full story is in the case study →.

The through line: I started on the customer side, learned the systems, ran the function, and now I build the product.

The way I work: I sit with a problem until I actually understand it, and I fight for outcomes. I watch what people do before I trust what they say. And the strength underneath the research numbers on this site is simple: people feel comfortable opening up to me. They talk naturally, nobody has to be compelled, and most of what I understand about any problem started with someone telling me the truth over a drink or across a desk.

Outside of work I cook, mostly Indian and Italian.

I'm a shy introvert, and connecting with people has never come easily to me. That's a big part of why MapChat made sense: I wanted a low-pressure way to meet people in real life to exist, so I'm building it.
